Men wearing Toe Nail Polish? What’s your take ladies?

Author: admin1  //  Category: massage blog

A while back I saw one of my favorite UFC fighters on his v-blog getting a peticure and having his toes painted. Additionally, I saw a interview where he had his toes painted green & white for St. Pat’s day.

I’ve never had a peticure or manicure or even a massage. Am I missing something?

I get regular pedicures every two weeks in always wear red polish on my toes and always wear sandals. Grow up people!! It is the year 2009; it’s not 1950 anymore. Women wear EVERY article of clothing and fashion that men wear. There are even articles in women’s fashion mags describing how to incorporate masculine items into to women’s wardrobes including neckties, men’s shoes, shirts, baseball caps, etc. Men can also borrow from women’s fashion and cosmetics. It is not just Chuck Liddell that is wearing toenail polish. Do some googling and you will find that many male athletes, rock stars, race car drivers, Hollywood Actors and other men wear nail polish. It is just color for God sakes, and is not really any different from a tattoo except that you can remove it. It is also fun to get nail art like flowers on the big toe to match your Hawaiian Shirts. The guy that replied that men who wear nail polish have something wrong with them or are gay is most likely very insecure in his sexuality and really should examine himself.

He’s a performer and wants to be noticed

If Adam Lambert didn’t carefully and painstakingly re-invent himself in the way he has he would have been way too ordinary to have warranted attention aside from his amazing voice (lots of amazing voices out there though)

Cross-dressing and wearing make up is just as likely to be a straight male passtime, dear

Sounds like he has some gay tendencies

Edit: Sorry, but cross dressing and wearing make up is just as bad. If you do that, there is something wrong with you!References :

Nothing gay about it. Just individual. Wanting to break the mould. We have a tv /radio personality here in Australia – high profile modern young guy who loves to wear black nail polish. Just his thing. Openly hetro. Cute, funny, smart. Just wants to break the mould. Always wondered why so many men are too frightened to do that.

Good on him, I say. Like individuality and think you should think twice about judging.References :

Painting them for St. Patricks Day is festive. The everyday wearing of polish makes me wonder. I’ve only had one manicure in my life, do my own manis and pedis. Some people like massages, but I would rather not have people messing with my back. No, I don’t think you are missing out.References :

If you want one, go get one. No ones holding you back.References :

Oh, a pedicure is wonderful….at a good spa they will massage your entire foot and leg up to the knee

The colored nail polish is just a gimmick for that UFC performer.References :

I usually only wear clear polish on both finger and toe nails, and I do this because my nails tend to break. I do a lot of physical stuff, and long nails just get in my way, so I keep my nails clipped fairly short. Despite recent fashion trends, I don’t think short nails look good with dark polish.

However, I do get a manicure and/or pedicure occasionally. It’s much more than just getting nails painted, the whole hand or foot is groomed. For instance, calluses are smoothed away, and the appendage is moisturized, and cuticles are dealt with. I do a lot of this stuff at home, but a professional can do it much better than I can, I’m really not much of a girly girl.

Manicures and pedicures and massages are all very relaxing to me, and I enjoy them greatly. If you’re curious about the experience, then try it. You don’t have to get your nails painted, even with clear polish, if you don’t want to.References :

I would like it. But then again, I’m into crossdressers. I think regular guys doing it is kind of strange, although if they do it in holiday or sports team colors, it’s kind of fun. Some Goth guys paint their fingernails black, and that’s kind of sexy.References :
